Beauty Lab is selected as the most preferred company by KOTRA's survey in HK!!

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Operated by South Korean government) organized “K-Beauty & Fashion Roadshow combined by K-Wave (Hallyu) star’s CSR” last May in Hong Kong. They released the survey report on consumers’ feedback at HK Pop up store (Miramar Shopping Center, Tsim Sha Tsui) which our company participated.

And our company, Beauty Lab, ranks No.1 as most preferred company by consumers' response in Hong Kong. 



  • Total 209 persons among visitors to POP UP store completed KOTRA’s questionnaire 
  • Age group: 10s(17%), 20s (36%), 30s(23%), 40s(13%), over 50 (11%)
  • Sex: Female (80%), Male (20%)
  • Nationality: Hong Kong (75%), Foreigners living in Hong Kong (17%), Tourists (8%)  -- Foreigners are from Korea, China, Philippines, Macao, UK, etc.
  • Purchasing intention after visiting POP UP store: Will purchase (68%), Will not purchase (22%), Not sure (10%)  
  • Preference on Korean fashion/beauty products: Greatly preferred (32%), Moderately preferred (56%), Not preferred (9%), Not buying (2%)

  • Which company  do you prefer among the participating companies in POP UP store?  
71 persons choose Beauty Lab as the company they prefer.  Multiple choices were possible. 209 persons choose 399 products by multiple choice.  

Beauty Lab is selected as No.1 company by Hong Kong consumers.  



  • Why do you want to choose "Beauty Lab" as preferred company? 



The reasons why HK consumers prefer Beauty Lab are Brand (23%), Design (17%), Quality (14%), etc.

Consumers showed very good responses on the fact Hani (a member of Korean girl group, EXID, who is very popular recently) has used Beauty Lab’s product.

Also, young women showed much interest in CC cushion which is widely and popularly used by Korean women and purchased Beauty lab’s CC cushion on the spot.

In case of Snail cream, it was popular among middle-aged women due to delicate oriental herbal fragrance.

Beauty Lab was the most popular company on the spot of POP UP Store and lots of purchases on the spot were made.
